SUGIONO VICE CHAIRMAN OF GERINDRA: THE WARRIOR SPIRIT AND PRABOWO SUBIANTO’S FAMILY
WartaHub. “Prabowo inherits all his warrior spirits directly from his ancestors. He is the son of Sumitro Djojohadikusumo. He is the grandson of Margono Djojohadikusumo.

They are well known figures in Indonesia. As we know that Sumitro Djojohadikusumo, Prabowo’s father, is the prominent figure in economic development. He is first son of 3 siblings.

Sumitro Djojohadikusumo has two little brothers. They are Subianto Djojohadikusumo and Sujono Djojohadikusumo”. Sugiono knows exactly about the family of Djojohadikusumo since he was the private assistance of Prabowo himself.

Subianto and Sujono were died as heroes during the Lengkong incident in 1946. The incident was started with the disarmament by Japanese army right after the proclamation of Indonesia. Suddenly the rifles that handed to Japanese army were taken back because they heard the gunshot without knowing the source the gunshot and it was considered as threaten by Japanese army.

Shootout can’t be avoided by the two parties; Japanese and Indonesia. And the party of Indonesia was led by Major Daan Mogot.  There were 33 cadet warriors, 3 officers died in that incident. Two of them were Prabowo’s uncles.

To commemorate his two beloved brothers, Pak Sumitro, Prabowo’s father, put the name of SUBIANTO in Prabowo’s name and SUJONO in Hashim’s name. Hashim is Prabowo’s little brother.
“Prabowo is raised in a warrior family. Wherever they gather the topic of the discussion dominated by the idea how to make Indonesia stands equally among the other nations around the world in all aspects such as economy, politics, and sports”. Sugiono explained this very clear.
Like the proverb, “Water eaves also fall into cesspool”. It means that the character of a child is shaped by his parents and the entire family.

The warrior spirit to defend the nation and country is flooding the blood of Prabowo Subianto. That spirit has firmly formed his characters to be the next leader of Indonesia. We can truly say that his ancestors are the warrior in the past and will be the warrior in the future in the blood of Prabowo.
